New Colleague and Trainee at NorCore
We are happy to welcome two new additions to the team at NorCore this fall. Anja Olsen Moberg joins us for a three-month secondment from the Norwegian Directorate of Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir), and Annika Klavenes Syverstad joins as our new trainee.

Anja works as senior adviser in the Department of European Cooperation and Quality Enhancement at HK-dir, where she specialises in higher education and skills policy. “After having worked with these issues at the national level for many years, I am very excited about joining the NorCore office this fall to learn more about the European perspectives. I think seeing the Norwegian and European discourse in context to one another will be really useful, both as an advisor within HK-dir and vis-a-vis the higher education sector.”
Our new trainee Annika holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Oslo. Previously she has interned at the Norwegian Embassy in Lisbon, and next year she will resume her master’s degree in Oslo. “When you study politics, knowledge of the EU is integral to understand how international relations work, and being in the heart of it all here in Brussels for the next months is very exciting. Furthermore, I look forward to diving into the fields of education, research, and innovation, and learning about the potential synergies that exist between the three here at NorCore.”
We welcome Anja and Annika to the NorCore team, and hope they have an interesting and insightful stay in Brussels.
